These look good. I make a similar version which are vegan. If you omit the egg, they will still bind well because of the rice. You just need to shape them into burgers rather than putting the mixture straight into the pan. http://www.everyday-vegetarian-recipes.com/veggie-burger-recipe.html

One of the under rated weight loss practice is called WALKING, it's so simple that it will take every weight loss professionals out of business. Try walking for at least 30 minutes to an hour a day. Do it in the woods to make it more fun and exiting, this is the first thing I thought when you said lose weight the natural way. Hope this helps. I have been using CITRICOR SF too, it is a weight loss supplement that I think every dieters and weight loss enthusiast should know here is the site http://citricor.com cheers!!

Apple, leafy green vegetable food, soy, oats, salmon fish, olive oil, almonds, red whine and whole grains are the healthy food for heart. As all these items specified above reduces the bad cholesterol ie, LDL cholesterol and increases good cholesterol ie, HDL cholesterol, then the heart stays healthy for a long time. The foods like all fried rice items, the meat, butter, ice creams and cakes from bakeries are the promoters of LDL cholesterol and hence they should be avoided..

It depends on the amount of polyunsaturated fat in it. When heated, polyunsaturated fat will become oxidized very easily. Monounsaturated and saturated fats are not anywhere close to as oxidizible when heated. So Olive oil having one third of the polyunsaturated fat of canola oil is better

The more polyunsaturated fat, the more oxidation damage. Also, vegetable oils with a lot of polyunsaturated fat will naturally be oxidized even if you don't cook with them. Cold-pressed olive oil won't though

[...] Do you know how to read food labels? Maybe you THOUGHT you did. Truth is, you probably don’t. But Jeff Novick, MS, RD — of the mcdougall program — does. And in his full talk he shows the 3 easy steps you MUST know if you ever buy foods at any supermarket or “health” food store. In this online excerpt, Novick — who used to be a food service manager at Kraft Foods — exposes one of the dirty secrets major food corporations use to deceive consumers.
